Position Description

As an Operations Associate, you will participate in the Operations Leadership Program. This is a hands-on operations management training program designed to develop team members into future leaders within Applied Medical’s operations and manufacturing teams. As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for working within a cross-functional and collaborative team environment while performing the following activities:

  • Learn about manufacturing operations using a hands-on approach
  • Maintain quality standards and procedures
  • Perform manufacturing cost analysis, shop floor control, material requirements planning, and production scheduling
  • Learn and use SAP ERP Systems
  • Identify and contribute to cost reduction projects
  • Develop capacity plan for current demand and future growth
  • Support company goals

Position Requirements

  • 4-year degree
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability

  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to overcome challenges
  • Possess critical thinking and analytical skills

Preferred

  • 4 year degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or Operations Management
  • Leadership experience
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Prior participation in internships and/or extracurricular activities
