Position Description

As a Production Associate - Electrical Assembly, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:

  • Handle all manufacturing operations for respective work area in a clean room or other environment.
  • Understand and follow manufacturing instructions and QSR per training
  • Read and comprehend engineering drawings and shop order operation sequences
  • Build and test electronic equipment and systems
  • Solder wire cable harness to PCBA per applicable quality standards
  • Set up test equipment to conduct functional, operational and environmental tests
  • Meet or exceed production and quality goals
  • Perform daily duties in manufacturing areas
  • Confer with production team members to resolve discrepancies and errors, and follow up and correct problems if required
  • Understand and comply with safety guidelines and company policies

Position Requirements

This position requires the following skills and attributes:

  • Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime
  • Work well in a team environment
  • Able to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
  • Strong hand-eye coordination
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve problems and improve processes
  • Familiar with software/firmware controlled electrical equipment
  • Extreme attention to detail, especially with small parts
  • Familiar with software/firmware controlled electrical equipment
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment such as gowns, masks, gloves, etc.
  • Exposure to ESD principles and prevention methods
  • 3+ years of experience in an electronics assembly, soldering and/or testing role preferred
