    Position Description

    As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for working within a cross-functional and collaborative team environment while performing the following activities:

     

    • Learn about manufacturing operations using an active approach
    • Maintain quality standards and procedures
    • Perform manufacturing cost analyses, shop floor control, material requirements planning and production scheduling
    • Learn and use data management systems (SAP ERP Systems)
    • Identify and contribute to cost-reduction projects
    • Develop capacity plans for current demand and future growth
    • Support company goals

    This is an at-will position. In your first year as an Operations Associate, you will participate in the Operations Leadership Program. This is a hands-on management training program designed to develop team members into future leaders within Applied Medical’s Operations and Manufacturing teams. Your training program will cover process improvements, quality standards, leadership skills and much more.

    Position Requirements

    This position requires the following skills and attributes:

     

    • 4-year degree
    • High level of flexibility and adaptability
    • Energetic and enthusiastic personality
    • True passion to learn and grow 
    • Self-motivated
    • Ability to overcome challenges
    • Critical thinking and analytical skills
    • Must be able to read, write and comprehend English
    • Must be able to participate in the 1 year Operations Leadership Program

    Preferred

    • 4-year degree in industrial engineering, business administration or operations management
    • Leadership experience
    • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Prior participation in internships and/or extracurricular activities
